Our Colour Consultancy Service offers 90 minutes of focused, in-home advice to help you make confident colour choices for up to four rooms.
On the day, we will visit you in your home, exploring how the natural light shifts throughout the day, how your existing furnishings or architectural details might influence colour and how to create flow between the rooms you’re refreshing. Our expert knowledge of colour, materials and finish will help you move forward with clarity, free from decision paralysis.
We’ll arrange for paint samples to be delivered to your door, provide guidance on how to test them properly and follow up to talk through your preference and answer any final questions you have.

How it works
Step 1
Pre-visit questionnaire
Before we visit, you’ll complete a short questionnaire covering the essentials, like your home’s orientation, your preferred style and any colours you already love (or want to avoid). We will also agree which four rooms you would like us to focus our time on.
Step 2
Your home visit
We’ll walk through each pre-agreed room and discuss your preferences in more detail before making our recommendations. We’ll arrange one complimentary sample for each of the rooms to be delivered to you along with guidance on how to test paint samples properly, including tips for applying them, moving them around your space and viewing them in different lights before committing. We can advise or order additional paint or wallpapering samples at the same time.
Step 3
After our visit
We’ll follow up after a week to talk through your sample preferences and answer any final questions before we place your order. We can also liaise directly with your decorator, recommend a trusted professional or advise on quantities, finishes and colour mixing where appropriate.

Our Colour Consultancy covers up to four rooms during a 90-minute in-home visit. This allows us to focus properly on each space and give you clear, confident recommendations.

You’ll receive a questionnaire to complete in advance, which helps us understand your style preferences, how your home is positioned and any colours you’re drawn to. This ensures we arrive prepared and ready to make the most of our time together.

We consider the room’s orientation, how the light moves throughout the day, your personal preferences, existing furnishings and the overall flow of your home. Ann’s recommendations are always tailored to your space, not limited by supplier relationships or trends.

You’ll receive physical paint samples based on the recommendations made during our visit. We’ll also give you advice on how to test them properly. A week later, we’ll check in to talk through your thoughts and answer any final questions.

Yes, we can either liaise with your existing decorator or recommend one from our trusted network. We’ll also advise on the right quantities and finishes, and whether colour-matching or the authentic paint is best for your project.
