A luxury five-bedroom residence in York’s prestigious Langley Gate development offered the perfect canvas to marry refined style with genuine comfort. The client, originally from Yorkshire but living in the USA at the time, entrusted us to manage the entire project remotely. Now back in the UK, our client continues to enjoy the property as a peaceful and private retreat.
The brief began as an elegant base for hosting friends and family, but evolved as our client’s lifestyle shifted. What emerged was a home full of warmth, personality and subtle distinction, a space to reconnect and entertain, free from the uniformity often found in new-builds
Luxurious and Sophisticated
Working closely with the housebuilder, we managed everything from layout refinements and material selection (working within the specifications of the developer) to final styling.
The result is a calm, monochromatic palette brought to life with warm neutrals, natural woods and soft textures. Bespoke details, including handmade mattresses, antique mirror finished and marble kitchen surfaces, elevate the everyday while keeping the space grounded, inviting and easy to maintain.
This project is a great example of how we bring warmth and individuality to even the most standardised executive-style property.
